I have sewn since I was a small child and have quilted since 1977. I ran an alterations/sewing business out of my house that kept me busy but didn’t satisfy my artistic needs.

When my children were small, I made them each a quilt. By the third one I was hooked. I learned quickly that my time is worth first quality fabrics. I really loved piecing tops but was getting frustrated machine quilting my quilts.

I read up on the quilt as you go technique. I found it very interesting and now make all my quilts this way. I have refined the technique and have come up with my own ways to quilt as you go. I teach this method at my local quilt shop.

I got into publishing my quilt designs in 2006 and it’s such a thrill when I see other people enjoying my quilts as much as I do.
